Butterfield Supports Grand Prix as Title Sponsor for Fifth Consecutive Year
Hamilton, Bermuda–24 April 2014: For the fifth consecutive year, The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited (“Butterfield”) will support the Butterfield Bermuda Grand Prix as the title sponsor, contributing $10,000 and volunteer support.
The Butterfield Bermuda Grand Prix, coordinated by the Bermuda Bicycle Association, consists of three bicycle races over a three-day period. Grand Prix competition begins in King’s Square, St. George’s on Friday, 25 April at 5:30 p.m. with the Hill Climb Time Trial. Racing continues on Saturday, 26 April at 7:30 a.m. with the Road Race that starts and finishes at Southside in St. David’s. The final stage of the race, the Hamilton Criterion, takes place on Sunday, 27 April between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Bermuda Bicycle Association President Peter Dunne thanked Butterfield for its support, saying, “This event would not be possible without the generous support of Butterfield. In addition to the financial support, their employees donate their personal time as event marshals and volunteers.”
