Re: Important Information for Corporate Online Banking migration to the new Butterfield Online
We are pleased to advise that we will be launching a new Butterfield Online platform for our Corporate Banking clients. All active user profiles (i.e., those that have been accessed within the last 18 months) will be migrated to the new version of Butterfield Online. This is scheduled to go-live on Monday, 12 October 2020.
As users are migrated to the new platform, a service interruption will be experienced on Saturday, 10 October between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and midnight.
- All Users should log on to the existing Butterfield Online in order to validate the user e-mail address on our system. (Clients logging in will be met with an information capture screen requesting validation of contact details. If a client has already performed this validation process and their contact details are updated, the screen will not be displayed.) Please encourage all users to log on to Butterfield Online to perform the validation.
- Please ensure that all pending transactions (administrative and financial) are approved prior to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, 9 October 2020.
Following the platform migration, clients will be able to access the new Butterfield Online via URL: www.butterfieldonline.com.
Your current login ID remains unchanged. You should login with your existing login credentials. All functions available to the Corporate User role will be accessible by selection from the dropdown menu once you have successfully logged in.
The One-Time Passcode (OTP) is replacing the existing Call-To-Verify functionality. Upon initial log in, an OTP alert message will be sent to the e-mail address attached to your Butterfield Online account. The OTP to be entered can be found within the body of the e-mail in bold text. The OTP received is active for one-time use within a 15-minute time period from receipt, and you are required to enter it in order to confirm your online banking login and/or transaction. To avoid any delays in receiving the code, we ask that you add the below email address to your contacts, to ensure that it is accepted and not blocked.
The Call Centre will be able to assist you between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, should you have any questions or concerns that require attention. Please contact us via the channels stated below.

Please remember that Butterfield will never e-mail you a link that asks for your online banking credentials or passwords. Suspicious e-mails should be forwarded to email@example.com.
