To help you learn about saving money and spending it wisely, Butterfield created Young Savers - a special savings account for our younger customers!

• A savings account of your very own
• A Youth ATM card allowing deposits to your account and withdrawals up to $200 per day
• The chance to earn interest payments on the money you keep in your account
• Detailed account statements that will help you keep track of how much you've saved
• Access to your account through Butterfield Direct Telephone Banking
• A calculator, notepad and pen gift set to help you budget your money
• When you turn 18, we'll automatically convert your Young Savers Account to a Butterfield Strata Savings Account
• In addition, you'll be invited to attend Butterfield’s Hook Up class, where you'll receive information to help support your lifestyle at college and beyond

Requirements:

• You must be between the ages of 10 and 18.
• Carefully complete the Young Savers Application Form and bring it to a Butterfield Banking Centre, along with:
  - a copy of your passport or birth certificate
  - photo identification
  - an item that shows your address like a copy of your parent’s telephone or electricity bill
  - If you're under 16, be sure to have a parent or guardian sign your application to give you permission to get and use your ATM card
• A minimum of $20 to open the account.
